Firm Introduction
History
Lawrence (Larry) Wilford and James (Jim) Geske formed Wilford & Geske, P.A. in 2003. The firm recognized a need for clients to have not only knowledgeable representation but attorneys who specialized in representing lenders and default servicers. This specialization affords clients the trust that all of their interests are considered in any stage of the process, whether it be in the serving of a Notice of Default or within more complicated litigation matters. Our award-winning firm continues to set the standard for legal service providers representing the default servicing industry.
Since it's establishment, the firm has grown to include nine attorneys and fifty staff members. And today we continue to grow and change to best represent our clients’ needs - Eric Cook, a long time associate with the firm, has taken on an increased leadership role and was recently added as a shareholder. The firm is now Wilford, Geske & Cook, P.A. (WGC).
Technology
Our law firm understands the far-reaching need for providing timely and cost effective default servicing support. We have invested in the most innovative technology available, supported by NDeX, which assists us in providing quick turn times and unmatched accuracy. As a non-judicial state, Minnesota’s foreclosure process has a number of strictly-construed, statutory requirements that a servicer must follow to commence/complete a foreclosure proceeding. Not only is our propriety system tailored to these unique requirements, it is designed to fully comply with Minnesota procedural requirements for each referral, including the tasks and documentation needed for accurate and timely completion of each step in the process. We believe that quality work from the outset leads to meeting your timelines and exceeding your expectations.
Our experienced staff is also trained to communicate via individual client websites.
